Spawn #32
& Spawn: Blood Feud (1995)

Listener Discretion Advised

ShoutEngine ⚬ Internet Archive ⚬ iTunes ⚬ Spotify ⚬ MP3

Spawn #32

by Todd McFarlane & Greg Capullo

"Appearances"
Dedicated To: My - Wanda Kolomyjec
Composed of necro-plasm, this new warrior of the damned comes bound to a body-sheathing, red and black neural parasite.

Having been in "The Service" now for well over two millennia, she understands... Upper management's business plan must be fully understood... particularly in light of Gabrielle's fiasco. Like any successful employee, Rafael knows one's appearance is important at these sessions.

Our goal is to listen. To learn. We guide only those who ask, and even then they mustn't know it's us... for the human soul is salvation for all of us.

Spawn Blood Feud #1-4 (1995)

by Alan Moore & Tony Daniel & Kevin Conrad

Dedicated To: Leah Moore, Amber Moore and all Young Urban Monsters Everywhere.
Dedicated To: Linda Gebbie: The Champ Vamp.
Dedicated To: Sylvia Moore (1927-1995)
Dedicated To: Jake and Joseph Moore: The Men of Tomorrow
I think today's our ninth anniversary, sir.

I feel you creeping against my flesh. I know how your chains move and I saw how you reacted in Heaven. Is that what's causing my blackouts? Some contra-reaction to paradise?

We all know why I'm here tonight. You have a problem, and that problem is super-natural beings. You may think of them in different terms: Youngbloods, Superfreaks... whatever. Personally, I prefer older labels... Wurdalak. Nosferatu. Vampire.

Spawn #29
& Angela (1995)

Listener Discretion Advised

ShoutEngine ⚬ Internet Archive ⚬ iTunes ⚬ Spotify ⚬ MP3

Spawn #29

by Todd McFarlane & Greg Capullo & thanks to Kevin Conrad

"Father"
Dedicated To: Michael Murphy
If you get into the habit, you might find yourself hitting someone you love, like I did, and regretting it forever. It's not worth it. You've got a great couple of kids there, and they need a father. It's time you started acting like one. A lot of people have good feelings about you, Joe... It's time the two most important ones felt the same way. End of sermon. Now, I want to leave a little reminder for you...

Angela (1995)

by Beau Smith & Brad Gorby with various

I've taken down over thirty Hellspawn in my time. You're not like any of the others. I want to know why.

It's gotta be the heavy religion factor that seems to radiate from Earth. Mass quantities of those that thump the Bible. Hunting Hellspawn was easier then. You had a mission. No gray area. You found them, you killed them, and that was that.

The night screamed with madness and fury. But even it was dwarfed by the insanity and evil that flowed through the body of CUT THROAT,

CAPTAIN OF THE DAMNED!

by Todd McFarlane & Greg Capullo

"The Dark"
Dedicated To: Dave Sim
That is why, after a very long and difficult deliberation, I've decided to remove her from your care and put her in a new set of circumstances. This, I believe, is for her own good.

You torture yourself for answers that, mostly, you've been given. You're just not trying hard enough. Much as I'm tempted to write you off, you do show some spark.

Call me Gabrielle, Mr. Simmons. If I might have a moment of your time, I really would like to talk to you.

Bloodstrike #4-10 (1993)

by Rob Liefeld & Dan Fraga & Eric Stephenson & & various

It's been a long time coming, Battlestone, but it looks like we're finally gonna get the chance to settle our differences once and for all-- brother to brother!

Bloodstrike: Brutalists #23 (2018)

by Michel Fiffe

Arms, eyes, surgically removed... prolonged state of anesthesia... medical field... official capacity or independent study... Test subjects? Sex slaves? Young women-- girls-- barely out of high school. Brenda will be a senior soon.

Youngblood #7-8 & 10 (1992)

by Rob Liefeld with Eric Stephenson, Danny Miki & Jonathan Sibal

He shot Bobby-- blew his head clean OFF!

As a man who has literally been to hell and back, there is precious little that frightens Al Simmons these days. This, however, comes close. This is the man who killed him. Emerging from the smoke and shadows, he looks like the devil himself, the ghastly white skull he chose long ago as his trademark eerily incandescent in the moonlight. A none-too-subtle reminder of what has passed between these two men... and the unholy bond they share.

It wasn't until later I figured out everything for myself in one divine moment of clarity-- if you had really come back from the dead, then so could I! Thing with me though, Al-- I could care less about love and happiness. You can have that crap. I've got bigger plans for my return-- plans that will change everything... forever.

"Reflections" Part 2
Dedicated To: Ross Andru
Just as your new Spawn body is composed of psychoplasm and can change shape, so too can this gateway assume the forms of any thoughts and emotions imprinted upon it.

The soldier is ready. Our Anti-Spawn has been prepared for his first battle.

Just what were Wynn's connections to alleged Youngblood covert operations and all those other sneaky little dirty-tricks outings nobody seems to want to report?

Pitt #5-8 (1994-1995)

by Dale Keown & Brian Hotton

So many questions... and the only one who can answer them... resides within the subconscious of an eight year old boy.

It's the men who attacked the girl. Somebody removed their heads. The girl...?

You... my noseless friend, are coming with us! No if's, and's, or but's... The powers that be, may just go lightly on this particular offense, that is proving you come along peacefully.

I serve NO one! I do not have TIME for this! The boy NEEDS me!

Pitt #1-4 & Extra-Image Presents Pitt (1993)

by Dale Keown & Brian Hotton

The lines were drawn. Destruction of Chakra was imminent. Only one had the power to halt their impending onslaught.

I'm scared Grampa. I wish Mom and Dad were here... I don't think things will ever be the same again.

I AM A CREED HYBRID. A WARRIOR.

you are not at war with this planet, PITT. as a matter of fact, we may end up playing an important role in it's salvation.

Spawn #9

by Neil Gaiman & Todd McFarlane

"Angela"
Dedicated To: Harvey Kurtzman
Oh, poor little hellspawn. You have been hunted... Now you'll never be a captain in the army of the Malebolgia.

Count Nicholas Cagliostro. At your service, Mr. Simmons.

You did a deal with the devil, huh? You hadn't even stopped to think about which one?

Men call me Angela.

Angela #1-3 (1994)

by Neil Gaiman & Greg Capullo

"Angela"
Dedicated To: Mike Gaiman, Jack Kirby, Susan Alston and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund
I've been decorated a dozen times in the battle against the forces of the Malebolgia... I've personally destroyed over thirty hellspawn. No one has ever questioned my integrity before. No one who wanted to keep their vital organs intact and inside them...

This is Gabrielle, Director of Terran Affairs, reporting formally to The Metatron via The First Dominion... concerning the missing dimensional lance...

200 years old. Your first case. Bizarre-- I was foolishly expecting a fair trial.
